Zhejiang University has a long history of archaeology and tradition of art education. From 2065438 to May 2009, Zhejiang University established the College of Art and Archaeology through the integration of resources, focusing on the construction of two first-class disciplines of archaeology and art theory and two disciplines of design art.

Lv Ziqing, a student of Art Department of College of Art and Archaeology, Zhejiang University, is inspired by the afternoon courtyard of an ancient village in Zhejiang Province. Modern board painting techniques are combined with traditional scenery.

Picture elements mainly include maple, tile, white wall, round window, bamboo curtain, slate, bonsai and other Jiangnan elements. The composition is symmetrical, the light source is soft, and the low saturated green and ochre are used in color matching to create a quiet atmosphere.
