Kaifeng University's junior college and undergraduate college are not in the same campus. Kaifeng University is a public institution of higher learning. At present, there are two campuses, one is Tokyo Avenue Campus in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, and the other is Binhe Road Campus in Kaifeng City, Henan Province.

Kaifeng University has 12 college, 2 departments, 5 public teaching and research sections, 57 permanent majors, 16088 full-time students from 30 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions). The school is qualified to receive and send overseas students, and has joint school projects with Britain and Australia.

According to the regulations of the school, the admitted candidates should enter the school within the registration time specified in the admission notice. Those who can't arrive at school on schedule for some reason must ask for leave in writing to the admissions department before the registration time stipulated by the school (subject to the local postmark). Leave due to illness needs to be accompanied by the diagnosis certificate of the hospital at or above the county level, and leave due to business needs to be accompanied by the street (township) certificate, and the holiday is generally not more than two weeks. Those who fail to ask for leave or ask for leave overdue shall be deemed to have given up their admission qualification except for reasons such as force majeure.
