University of Miami at Oxford, founded in 1809, is a state university in Ohio, USA. It is one of the best and most beautiful public universities in America. University of Miami at Oxford is a public university headquartered in Oxford, Ohio, USA. It also has three branches in Hamilton and Middleton, Ohio, and Luxembourg, Europe. The school has more than 20,000 students, nearly one tenth of whom are foreign students from more than 60 different countries in the world. The educational level of the school is among the best in American public universities, with about 100 undergraduate majors, more than 50 master majors and 14 doctoral majors. No matter natural science or social science, there are many excellent majors, which are very popular with students.

The University of Miami, Oxford, ranked 76th in the 20 14 comprehensive ranking of American news, was rated as a second-class national university in the United States, and ranked second in the ranking of the best undergraduate education quality in the United States. Forbes listed Miami University and Oxford University as the first public universities in Ohio, but they ranked 30th in the national public university rankings. The school is a full member of the first batch of "public Ivy". University of Miami MU (this is the official name) is often confused with University of Miami UM, or mistaken for the latter's campus in Oxford. In fact, these two schools have nothing to do at all. They are two independent universities.

This school has two semesters every academic year. The first semester is from late August to late February of/kloc-0, and the second semester is from early May of 1 month. Summer courses are also available.
