The middle school affiliated to Yunnan University is a school with a long history.
Founded in 1927, it has gone through the period of high school attached to Donglu University, National Dayun Senior High School, Dayun Workers and Peasants Middle School and Dayun Workers' Children Middle School.
1982 resumed school, 1988 resumed the name of "Dayun Affiliated Middle School".

Famous people such as Chu Tunan, Wu Han, Li Gongpu, Wen Yiduo, Yang Chunzhou and Li Guangtian once taught in Dayun High School. At present, Dayun Affiliated Middle School is a first-class and second-class complete middle school in Yunnan Province, directly under the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education. Directly administered by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education and sponsored by Yunnan University, high schools, junior high schools and primary schools are all recruiting students for the whole province. Yao Xing Campus has 20 classes in senior high schools, 8 classes in junior high schools/KLOC-0 and 24 classes in primary schools, with more than 3,300 students.
