Sun Yat-sen University, located in Guangdong Province, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, established by the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and Guangdong Province. The school ranks among the "double first-class", "985 Project" and "21project" in China. It consists of three campuses, five campuses and ten affiliated hospitals in Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Shenzhen, with 70 colleges (departments) and 136 undergraduate majors.
