The School of Automation Engineering of Northeast Li Dian University is a secondary college affiliated to Northeast Li Dian University. The School of Automation Engineering of Northeast Li Dian University, formerly known as the Department of Thermal Self-taught Examination, was established in 1956. 1993 was established independently, and it was renamed as Institute of Automation Engineering in 2004.

The College of Energy and Power Engineering of Northeast Li Dian University is a secondary college affiliated to Northeast Li Dian University. College was founded in 1949, formerly known as the power generation department of Changchun Electric Machinery Senior Vocational School. 1958, the school was upgraded to undergraduate course and renamed as the Department of Power Engineering. In 2004, the school was renamed Northeast Li Dian University, and the College of Energy and Mechanical Engineering was established. 20 10 was renamed as School of Energy and Power Engineering.
