There are three universities in Liverpool, England, namely: Liverpool University, Liverpool Johns Mures University and Liverpool Hope University.

1. University of Liverpool, referred to as "Lida", was founded in 188 1. It is a public research university located in Liverpool, England, and one of the Red Brick Universities. It is a member of Russell University Group, N8 University Alliance, European University Association, NCUK and RENKEI. Xi Jiaotong-Liverpool University was established in cooperation with Xi Jiaotong University in China, and it also has a campus in Singapore.
2. Liverpool Johns Mures University, referred to as "LJMU", is a comprehensive university located in Liverpool, England. Its name is in memory of the famous British businessman John Mures. The school originated from Liverpool College of Science, Technology and Literature and was established in 1823. It was originally a small-scale engineering school. After hundreds of years of growth and integration, it merged different institutions and became 1970 Liverpool Institute of Technology. 1992, promoted by the Law on Continuity and Higher Education promulgated by the British government, was upgraded to Liverpool Johns Mures University.
3. Liverpool Hope University, also known as Liverpool Hope University, was founded in 1844. Its scenic campus is only 3 miles from the historic city of Liverpool. The school belongs to the Anglican Church and Catholicism, and is a unique Catholic university college. From 65438 to 0997, the school won the Liverpool Freedom Award and the Queen's Annual Award for Higher Education and Continuing Education.
