According to the Book of Rites, the imperial court of the son of heaven is called "Bi Yong". According to the standards of later generations, Bi Yong is imperial academy.
Besides Biyong, there were other universities in the Western Zhou Dynasty. This does not rule out the possibility of other universities.
Xu Dong, Zhezhong, Cheng Jun and Shangyao are all universities.
