Dezhou University is a comprehensive public undergraduate college in Shandong Province, located in Dezhou City, Shandong Province. The school was founded in May 197 1 and was approved by the Ministry of Education as an ordinary undergraduate college in March 2000.

It is a think tank joint unit designated by the Policy Research Office of Dezhou Municipal Committee of China, and a member of the Science and Technology Innovation Alliance of the provincial economic circle.

The predecessor of the school is Dezhou Huayu School, which was established in 2002. In 2004, it was transformed into Shandong Huayu Vocational and Technical College and upgraded to a full-time undergraduate college in 20 14.

Dezhou Vocational and Technical College (hereinafter referred to as Dezhou Vocational College) is a public full-time comprehensive general higher vocational college at the specialist level in Dezhou City, Shandong Province.

Founded in 1958, the College is the earliest vocational and technical school in Texas.

The school was formerly 1988 Yucheng Agricultural Mechanization School approved by Shandong Provincial Education Commission, 1989 was renamed Dezhou Agricultural Machinery High School, 1992 was renamed Dezhou Agricultural Machinery Vocational Secondary School, 1994 was upgraded to Dezhou Electromechanical Engineering School, and in 2006, Dezhou Vocational College of Science and Technology was established with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Government.
