Among these seven universities, the discipline of ordnance science and technology of Beijing Institute of Technology was rated as A+ in the fourth round of discipline evaluation, Nanjing University of Science and Technology was hailed as the cradle of ordnance technical talents, and north university of china was even hailed as the "national strategist" and "the first school of people's ordnance engineering". The other four universities also highlight the characteristics of national defense and weapons, and they are all national defense research universities with "military-civilian integration and integration of defense and civilian technologies".
