After graduating from high school, Pippen, who was only 18 1cm tall, did not receive any university scholarships. Wayne, a kind high school coach, asked the University of Central Arkansas to let Pippen join the team through work-study program. Since then, Pippen has lived a life of washing clothes, washing socks, cleaning the arena and ensuring logistics for his teammates.
