No acting major. Zhejiang University has an art department, but there is no performing major.

Zhejiang University, referred to as "Zhejiang University", is located in Hangzhou, a paradise on earth. Qiushi Academy, formerly known as 1897, is one of the earliest modern institutions of higher learning founded by China people themselves. 1928 was renamed as National Zhejiang University. During the Republic of China, Zhejiang University, under the leadership of its old president, Zhu Kezhen, rose to be one of the highest institutions of learning in the Republic of China, and was praised as "Oriental Cambridge" by the British scholar Joseph Needham, which ushered in the most glorious period in the century-old history of Zhejiang University. Zhu Kezhen, the old headmaster, became the greatest person in the history of Zhejiang University because of his historical contribution, and established the motto of "seeking truth" and the school song of Zhejiang University. Zhejiang University, a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), is the first batch of 7 "2 1" universities in China.
