From 65438 to 0975, this university across the two places ran independently and became two universities, Trier University and Kaiserslautern University. After more than 30 years of development, Kaiserslautern University is known as "one of the most successful new universities" in Germany and enjoys a high reputation in German business and academic circles. In September 2003, with the approval of the state government, Kaiserslautern University was renamed "Kaiserslautern University of Technology", thus becoming the only university in Germany named after "TU" (Technische University & auml;; T) is one of 14 universities of science and engineering. Kaiserslautern University of Technology has eight state-level and state-level research institutions in Germany, including Flawn Hof Institute of Software Design and German Artificial Intelligence Research Center, and has established inter-school cooperative relations with 338 universities in 54 countries. The university offers 75 majors in 10 disciplines, including 20 traditional German master's degrees (Diploma-Ingenieur (in)), 14 newly established British and American master's degrees (Master Science) and 1 1 a first-class doctoral degree. There are more than ten thousand students in the school.
