How to take the English exam?
English proficiency test can take part in the national public English proficiency test, CET-4 and CET-6, CET-8, Cambridge Business English, national translation professional qualification (level) test, and the national unified foreign language proficiency test for professional and technical personnel. Candidates can register themselves.

College English Test CET: divided into three levels, four levels and six levels; TEM for English majors: divided into four grades and eight grades; Public English test: divided into 1 ~ 5 grades; Cambridge Business English BEC: divided into Level 1 and Level 2; Translation Qualification Examination (CATTI): it is divided into oral translation and translation, with one or two levels respectively; Professional title English test: divided into primary, intermediate and advanced.

The unified foreign language examination for professional titles shall be uniformly planned, guided and examined by the Ministry of Personnel. The personnel examination center of the Ministry of Personnel is responsible for the organization and implementation of the examination. The exam is held once a year, usually in the last week of March, and generally only test sites are set up in cities above prefecture level.

The national English test for professional and technical personnel is divided into three professional categories: comprehensive, science and engineering, and health. The examination of each professional category is divided into three grades: A, B and C. Except for the comprehensive category, the content of each level of examination paper accounts for 50% of general English and 50% of professional English. The total score of the Level 3 test is 100, and the test time is 2 hours.

College English generally refers to CET4 and CET6. CET-4 and CET-6 are national English tests administered by the Ministry of Education. Its purpose is to objectively and accurately measure the actual English ability of college students and provide evaluation services for college English teaching. College English test is a large-scale standardized test and a "norm reference test of standard correlation".

TEM-8 is called TEM-8 in Chinese universities. Since 199 1, the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and China has conducted an investigation on English majors in national comprehensive universities. The TEM-8 examination for English majors is sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee for Foreign Language Majors in colleges and universities (not sponsored by the Ministry of Education).

Specific methods of reviewing English test scores

(1) Recite words for 90 minutes every morning, and target 40 required words. Good spirit in the morning, high memory efficiency, after breakfast (6: 30-7: 30), you can start to remember words.

(2) While listening to the audio, remember the required words to lay the foundation for listening. There is audio in the vocabulary book flashing through English. You can scan the code and download it to your mobile phone, and listen to it at any time, which can improve your listening.

(3) Listen to audio to consolidate words 30 minutes before going to bed at night. It is recommended to listen to the audio with headphones and review the meaning, spelling and usage of words.

(4) Find an accumulation book, record the meanings of similar words and some familiar words, and turn them over three times a day to deepen your impression and avoid confusion.
