I have been designing for many years and have met many people like you. My advice to you is that you don't approve of going to the Academy of Fine Arts, and you are just muddling along there. If you really want to take the road of art, you must first make clear your development direction, whether it is pure art or design. If it is pure art, so are Chinese painting and western painting, sculpture and design.

If you choose the right direction, buy more theoretical books. If you can read, or want to develop in this field after reading, I suggest you go to some well-known professional training institutions in society, which are usually much more practical than those in universities. Of course, the tuition is also expensive.

Finally, get the certificate after learning! It is difficult to get an internationally recognized or nationally recognized advanced certificate (taken by a powerful training institution) anywhere. Don't believe that college stuff is basically useless in society. A diploma is like an invoice, just to prove that you paid the money!
