South China University of Technology is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is a national key university determined by the Ministry of Education and the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, and ranks among the national "double first-class", "2 1 1 project" and "985 project".
