The School of Foreign Languages of China Pharmaceutical University was founded in 2000, with 398 undergraduates majoring in English (medical direction).

The college has offices, English Department, Pharmaceutical English Department, College English Department, Postgraduate English Department, Chinese and Minority Languages Department, Multimedia Teaching Management Center, English Speech and Debate Center, Foreign Language Teaching and Training Center, International Exchange Center and Social Cooperation Center.

In addition to training English majors, the college also undertakes English teaching for doctoral students, master students, undergraduates and junior college students.

The average employment rate of college graduates in recent four years is 99%. Among the employed students, more than 50% choose pharmaceutical-related enterprises, and 24% choose English-related industries (including English education or foreign trade).
