The Development Planning Department of Shanghai Education Commission and the Municipal Education Infrastructure Center, together with the preparatory working group, completed the Master Planning and Design Task Book of Shanghai University of Visual Arts and Design (to be established).

After many discussions between Gong Xueping, director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and leaders of Fudan University, the Municipal Education Commission and the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, it was decided to build the school by combining government support with diversified social investment. It is a public independent college of Fudan University, named "Fudan University Shanghai school of visual arts".

Fudan University, Shanghai Shenjiao Investment Co., Ltd., Shanghai Culture, Radio, Film and Television Group, Wen Hui Xinmin United Newspaper Group and Shanghai Wen Jing Real Estate (Group) Co., Ltd. formally signed the cooperation agreement between Fudan University and Shanghai school of visual arts.

The foundation stone laying ceremony of Shanghai school of visual arts of Fudan University was held in Songjiang University Park. Gong Xueping, director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Yan Juanqi, deputy mayor, Wang Ronghua, vice chairman of CPPCC, Li Xuanhai, secretary of science and education of the Municipal Party Committee, Hao Tiechuan, vice minister of propaganda department of the Municipal Party Committee, TongFu.kabu, secretary of the Municipal Wenxin Group, Wang Qi, deputy director of the Municipal Education Commission, and party and government leaders of Fudan University and Songjiang District attended the ceremony. Gong Xueping and Yan Juanqi unveiled the groundbreaking ceremony and led the leaders attending the ceremony to lay the foundation for the groundbreaking ceremony. The first meeting of school of visual arts Board of Directors of Fudan University was held in Wenxin Group Building, and Ye Zhikang was elected as the chairman and Hu Jinjun as the vice chairman.

Shanghai Association Administration issued a notice of approval for the name of Fudan University Shanghai school of visual arts.

College and Shanghai Wenguang Film and Television Group, Wenxin Newspaper Group, Shanghai Art Museum, Shanghai Shanda Network Co., Ltd. and other 22 enterprises and institutions held the signing ceremony of * * * teaching practice base in Shanghai Radio and Television Building. In the future, schools and enterprises will cooperate in student practice and industrial project research and development.

The school established the Digital Media College and the Performing Arts College, and the original Media Film and Television College was revoked. Some majors make layout adjustments.

The Ministry of Education agreed that the school should refer to the national 13 independent art colleges' professional enrollment method from 2008, and it is the only private college in China.

20 13- today

With the approval of the Ministry of Education's Letter on Agreeing to Transform Fudan University Shanghai school of visual arts into Shanghai school of visual arts (J.F.H. [2013] No.81), it is agreed that Fudan University Shanghai school of visual arts will be transformed into Shanghai school of visual arts, an independent private undergraduate school with the school code of13632; At the same time, the establishment of Fudan University and Shanghai school of visual arts was cancelled.

With the approval of the Ministry of Education, it broke away from the affiliation of Fudan University and changed from an independent college to an ordinary private college, renamed school of visual arts. The opening ceremony of Dedao experimental class was held grandly. The first batch of * * * includes "Animation" and "Product Design", with 56 students.

The Design Experimental Teaching Center was rated as "National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center" by the Ministry of Education.

Shanghai Visual Arts School has established a music base in cooperation with Jin Dian Studio.
