Zhejiang Normal University has more than 25,000 full-time undergraduates, more than 5,000 graduate students (including graduates with professional degrees), more than 3,000 international students and more than 20,000 adult higher education students.

Zhejiang Normal University is a multi-disciplinary provincial key university focusing on teacher education. It has a complete range of disciplines, many characteristic disciplines, strong teachers and first-class teaching facilities, which has laid a solid foundation for continuing education.

There are more than 2,536 employees in vocational education, including 342 teachers with senior titles and 764 teachers with deputy senior titles.

At present, there are three first-class doctoral programs in pedagogy, China language and literature and mathematics, 28 first-class master programs in disciplines and 13 professional master programs. The school has a national key vocational education teacher training base determined by the Ministry of Education, a railway locomotive driver training base determined by the former Ministry of Railways, a teacher training center in colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province, a kindergarten teacher training center in Zhejiang Province, and a kindergarten director training center in Zhejiang Province.
