Qilu Teachers College is a public full-time normal college. The school has a long history. It was formerly the School of Education of East China University and was founded in 1948. 1949 moved from Shandong Yidu (Qingzhou) to Jinan, Shandong;

1960 was renamed Shandong Institute of Education; 20 10 was renamed Qilu normal university. In 20 18, it successfully passed the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work of the Ministry of Education, and in 20021,it was approved as the first batch of application-oriented undergraduate universities in Shandong Province, and it was the second batch of pilot universities of the Ministry of Education to promote the construction of teachers.
