Students can design and make mechanical devices that can make classroom teaching richer and more attractive according to their own observation of daily classroom teaching or their vision of classroom teaching environment and state in the next few years.

Classrooms include classrooms, laboratories and other teaching places. Classroom equipment includes desks and chairs, platforms, blackboards, projection equipment, display equipment, etc. Teaching AIDS refer to teaching tools that can help college students understand and master the basic concepts, principles and methods of mechanical courses (including but not limited to theoretical mechanics, material mechanics, mechanical drawing, mechanical principles, mechanical design, mechanical manufacturing foundation, etc.). ).

Students should pay attention to the innovation of the function, principle and structure of the work when designing.

All finalists must be consistent with the theme and content of this competition, and works that are inconsistent with the theme and content cannot participate. Entries must focus on mechanical design and advocate the adoption of advanced theories and technologies, such as electromechanical integration technology. The evaluation of the work is not based on a single standard of mechanical structure, but on the comprehensive evaluation of the function, design, structure, process production, cost performance, advancement and innovation of the work. In the case of achieving the same function, the simpler the mechanical structure, the better.

The 6th National College Students' Mechanical Innovation Design Competition and the 8th National Yu Hui Engineering Technology Innovation Design Competition were grandly opened in Northeastern University. This competition is sponsored by the Organizing Committee of the National College Students' Mechanical Innovation Design Competition, the Teaching Steering Committee of the Mechanical Foundation Course of the Ministry of Education, and co-organized by Northeastern University.
