Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 In order to implement the sunshine college entrance examination policy of the Ministry of Education, standardize the enrollment work, ensure that the enrollment work is "fair, just and open", ensure the quality of students, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of colleges and candidates, these Articles of Association are formulated in accordance with the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Education Law of the People's Republic of China and the provisions of the Ministry of Education on enrollment work, and in combination with the reality of our school.

Article 2 The Chinese name of the school is Beijing Foreign Studies University, referred to as Beiwai for short; The English name is Beijing Foreign Studies University, or BFSU for short. The school is located at No.2, Northwest Third Ring Road, Haidian District, Beijing, with the postal code of 100089.

Article 3 Schools are full-time ordinary institutions of higher learning run by the state and directly under the Ministry of Education. The school is the first batch of "double first-class" colleges and universities.

Article 4 Those who meet the graduation requirements of this major within the specified time shall be awarded the undergraduate diploma of Beijing Foreign Studies University; In line with the relevant provisions of the school's degree granting, the bachelor's degree certificate will be awarded to undergraduate graduates of ordinary higher education.

Chapter II Organizational Structure

Article 5 A school shall set up an undergraduate enrollment committee to be responsible for consulting and supervising the enrollment affairs of the school.

Article 6 The school shall set up a leading group for undergraduate enrollment, which shall be responsible for formulating the undergraduate enrollment policy of the whole school and discussing and deciding major issues. The school set up an admissions office, which is responsible for the daily work of undergraduate enrollment.

Seventh schools should set up an enrollment supervision office to supervise the enrollment work.

Chapter III Enrollment Plan

Eighth schools recruit students for the whole country, and accept both arts and sciences (the pilot provinces of college entrance examination reform shall be implemented according to the relevant regulations of each province).

According to the conditions of running a school, the number of applicants for the college entrance examination in various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, the quality of students, and other factors, the school prepares undergraduate enrollment plans by province and specialty. The specific enrollment plans, elective subjects and related requirements of each major will be reported to the Ministry of Education for the record, and then released to the public by the provincial admissions examination departments.

The school reservation plan does not exceed 1% of the total enrollment plan, which is used to adjust the imbalance of students on the local unified examination line and solve the enrollment of candidates with the same score.

Chapter IV Access Rules

Article 9 Under the leadership of the Ministry of Education, according to the "Notice of the Ministry of Education on Doing a Good Job in Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities" promulgated by the Ministry of Education that year, and following the principles of "fair competition, fair selection, open procedures, comprehensive assessment, comprehensive evaluation and merit-based admission", the enrollment examination departments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall organize it in a unified way.

Article 10 The general enrollment arrangements of the school are advance approval (comprehensive evaluation) and a batch of undergraduate students, and candidates can fill in at the same time.

Candidates who sign up for comprehensive evaluation enrollment must take the examination organized by the school. For the comprehensive evaluation of enrollment, please refer to the "2020 Beijing Foreign Studies University Belt and Road Foreign Language Major Comprehensive Evaluation Admissions Guide".

A batch of undergraduate enrollment, candidates take the college entrance examination, fill in the corresponding batch of volunteers in the college entrance examination volunteer form, and the school enrolls students from all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government according to their college entrance examination results.

Eleventh schools according to the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government enrollment plan and students to determine the proportion of filing.

For batch-sequential volunteering, the proportion of reporting generally does not exceed 120% of the number of enrollment plans announced by each province in the current year.

For the batch of parallel volunteer, the proportion of reporting is generally not more than 105% of the number of enrollment plans announced by each province in that year.

Article 12 Candidates who enjoy the national policy bonus stipulated by the admissions departments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government will be enrolled according to the policy bonus, and will be admitted on the basis of the candidates' actual test scores after filing. All college entrance examination bonus items and scores are not applicable to enrollment items that do not arrange provincial and professional enrollment plans. In the case of the same actual test scores, candidates who enjoy policy extra points are given priority; Those who don't enjoy the extra points of the policy will be admitted to candidates with high scores in foreign languages, Chinese, mathematics and foreign language oral examinations in turn.

Thirteenth schools in the admission, according to the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government candidates fill in the voluntary situation, according to the actual test results, according to the professional voluntary admission. Professional volunteers can not be satisfied, subject to professional adjustment, according to the actual test results to adjust to the enrollment plan is not completed; Those who do not obey the adjustment will be dismissed.

The Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school in our school adopts a separate code for enrollment, and only accepts candidates who have filled in their professional volunteers, and does not accept transfers.

Fourteenth in the sequential voluntary filing batch, if the number of the first volunteer candidates is insufficient, non-first volunteer candidates may be admitted. According to the actual test scores from high to low, select the best candidates until the plan is completed, provided that they obey the professional adjustment. If the number of qualified non-first-choice candidates is still insufficient, volunteers will be collected.

When the batch submitted by parallel volunteer fails to complete the plan, voluntary admission will be collected.

Fifteenth schools do not set professional volunteer grades when enrolling students.

Article 16 The physical examination standard shall be implemented in accordance with the Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities issued by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the China Disabled Persons' Federation and the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the Ministry of Health on Issues Related to Cancellation of Hepatitis B Examination for Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities (Church [2010] No.2).

According to the characteristics of the school's disciplines and majors, those who have stuttering, hoarseness or physical defects in the mouth and one of the otorhinolaryngology diseases that hinder pronunciation and hearing are not allowed to study.

Article 17 Among the foreign language majors enrolled in schools, English majors only recruit English language candidates. There are no foreign language restrictions for other foreign language majors, but after entering school, both foreign languages are English.

English is the official foreign language for non-foreign language majors in our school, and some specialized courses are taught in English. All students should study according to the curriculum of our school.

Chinese-foreign cooperative education is taught in English, and candidates in non-English languages are advised to apply carefully.

Article 18 According to the characteristics of the school's disciplines and majors, all candidates who apply for our school must take the oral English test and pass it (candidates in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are required to reach Grade A), except those provinces where the provincial entrance examination institutions do not organize the oral English test for the college entrance examination. The organization, content and results of the oral English test shall be implemented by the provincial entrance examination department where the candidates are located. Our school will no longer organize oral English test and professional interview separately.

Article 19 the requirements of the school for the academic level test of candidates in Jiangsu Province are: liberal arts history A, other B and above; Science requires physics to be A, others to be B and above. Candidates are admitted from high to low according to their scores after filing.

Article 20 Schools within the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region shall implement the enrollment plan 1: 1 and queue up for admission according to professional volunteers.

Twenty-first candidates from the provinces (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong and Hainan) that have comprehensively reformed the college entrance examination must meet the relevant requirements announced by our school in the province's enrollment major and be admitted according to the relevant provisions of the college entrance examination reform.

Article 22 The enrollment work of the school, such as walking students, high-level sports teams, comprehensive evaluation, special plans of colleges and universities, Tibetan classes in the mainland, Xinjiang classes in the mainland, cooperation plans for aiding Xinjiang, preparatory students of ethnic minorities, national special plans and joint entrance examination plans for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and the enrollment brochures of the year published by the school.

Chapter V Others

Article 23 According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and the approval of the Beijing Municipal Price Bureau, the tuition standard for undergraduate majors in our school is: 6000 yuan/academic year for foreign languages and literature majors; International economy and trade (Chinese-foreign cooperative education) tuition fee is 35,000 yuan/academic year; The three-year tuition fee for diplomacy (Sino-foreign cooperative education) of Beijing Foreign Studies University is 86,000 yuan/academic year, and the third-year tuition fee of Kiel University is implemented according to the tuition fee standard for international students of related majors in Kiel University that year (reference fee: annual tuition fee is about13,000 pounds, and living expenses are about 9,000 pounds); The tuition fee for other majors is 5,000 yuan/academic year. Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students in the province are charged according to the provisions of relevant departments. According to the different accommodation conditions, the school charges students different accommodation fees, and the charging standard is 750- 1200 yuan per academic year.

Twenty-fourth freshmen, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state and the school entrance qualification examination. Students who fail to pass the review shall be dealt with according to the relevant provisions of the enrollment work.

Twenty-seventh schools do not entrust any intermediary institutions or individuals for enrollment training and admission, and do not charge any fees other than those stipulated by the state. The school reserves the right to investigate the responsibility of intermediaries or individuals engaged in illegal enrollment publicity activities in the name of the school.

Supplementary rules

Article 28 The Articles of Association shall be examined and approved by the school enrollment leading group.

Article 29 If the previous requirements and regulations of the school on enrollment are inconsistent with these Articles of Association, these Articles of Association shall prevail.

Article 30 The right to interpret the Articles of Association belongs to the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Article 31 The Articles of Association shall come into force as of the date of promulgation.
