What is the passing score of CET4 and CET6?
The score of CET-4 is 425. The national English Band 4 and Band 6 stipulates that "those with a score of 425 or above in Band 4 can apply for Band 6". It is generally believed that the passing line of Band 4 is 425.

The purpose of CET-4 is to promote the implementation of college English syllabus, measure college students' English ability objectively and accurately, and serve to improve the teaching quality of college English courses in China. The Ministry of Education entrusts the National College English Band 4 and Band 6 Examination Committee (1993 named "College English Band 4 and Band 6 Standardized Examination Design Group") to design, organize, manage and implement the College English Band 4 and Band 6 Examination.

Scoring rules

Since June 2005, the original scores of CET-4 and CET-6 have been converted into norm-normal scores with a mean value of 500 and a standard deviation of 70 after weighted equivalence. At the same time, there is no passing line for CET-4 and CET-6, and the examination certificate is changed to a transcript.

The formula for calculating the total score of CET-4 and CET-6 test reports is as follows: where x represents the original score of each candidate after weighted equivalence, Mean represents the norm mean, and SD represents the norm standard deviation.

The score module of CET-4 and CET-6 consists of nearly 10,000 undergraduates from several key universities in China from 65438 to 0987. The CET-4 and CET-6 Examination Committee plans to revise this standard for the first time in 2006.
