The original libel

Heaven is good for people, and it is benevolent! People don't know that beauty is better than taste, but people can't help it. It's thicker than life and people don't want it. However, Xia Yu also complained, and Han Qi also complained that he was not good, but he also complained that he was not frugal and poor, and he also complained. Today is citizen's day, it's cruel! It's still like this. What's the situation? What about ghosts and gods? It's his resentment and hatred, twice as big as the sky! There are emperors in the world and kings in the country, but you can be careless! Therefore, Yao has always been unkind, and Shun has also been slandered as unfilial. I don't know that Yao Ci is dominated by the world, not by children; Shun Xiao, eternal life is not in the father. Oh! Yao, Shun and Great Sage were slandered by people; After being the king of the world, if there are walkers who are not Yao and Shun, it is not an exaggeration for the people to choke their words, slap their heads, humiliate them, and fold them!

Translation of original libel

God creates welfare for the people, and his benevolence can be said to be extreme! There is nothing the people don't know, nothing is useful, and nothing the people don't pursue to make life colorful. Even so, in the hot and rainy season, people complain about the sky, in the cold season, people complain about the sky, they do something wrong, which leads to disaster, and they hate the sky because they are not frugal. In this way, it is also an extreme for the people to treat heaven without paying attention to benevolence! For heaven, let alone treat the monarch! How much more treat ghosts and gods! In this way, the resentment and slander of monarchs and ghosts and gods is several times more than that of heaven! Can you be the emperor of the world and the monarch of a country if you are not careful? Therefore, there are "unkind" slanders on Yao and "unfilial" slanders on Shun. These people really don't know that Yao's kindness covers the whole world, not just his son; Shun's filial piety has nourished generations, not just his father. Ah! Yao Shun is a great sage, and the people still want to slander him. Those who are called the king of the world by later generations cannot be governed like Yao Shun, so it is not too much for the people to pinch him, take his head, humiliate him, drive him away, knock him down and destroy his home.
