Wuhan University, referred to as Wuhan University for short, is a comprehensive research university located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. Its school origin can be traced back to the late Qing Dynasty (1893), and Zhang Zhidong, governor of Huguang, founded the School of Self-improvement at the invitation of the Qing government. It has a history of 100 years. 19 13 was renamed as National Wuchang Normal School, and 65426 was established as National Wuchang Sun Yat-sen University. 1949 New China was founded and renamed Wuhan University, which is still in use today.
