What kind of college graduates will the army accept? The continuous development of military modernization puts forward high requirements for the quality of military talents and the structure of cadres. The level of receiving local college graduates is mainly undergraduate; The discipline is mainly science and engineering, and graduates who need literature and history are also accepted. Combat troops and troops in remote and hard areas can accept some college graduates; The teaching, scientific research and medical units above the garrison hospital are oriented to national key institutions of higher learning, and mainly accept professional and technical talents at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The recipients should be fresh graduates and graduate students who have participated in the unified examination of national ordinary schools (including postgraduate training units). Graduates from non-ordinary institutions of higher learning, such as graduates, dropouts, TV universities, correspondence universities and staff universities, will not be admitted. The particularity of the army requires strict requirements in the process of receiving graduates from local colleges and universities to work in the army, insisting on comprehensive measurement of morality, intelligence and physique, putting political qualifications in the first place and receiving graduates on the basis of merit. Specific registration methods Generally speaking, on the eve of graduation, college students can take the initiative to contact the relevant units of the army, or get in touch with the school employment guidance center, and ask the teachers of the guidance center to introduce the employers of the army. At present, all units of the whole army have set up registration points for college students to join the army in cities where colleges and universities are concentrated. For example, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Xi Jiaotong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beijing Institute of Chemical Defense Command and Engineering, Nanjing Artillery College, etc. have all set up workstations for the General Staff to receive applications from local college students. Each registration point has a special staff to receive college students who are interested in joining the army and help contact the work unit. After reaching an understanding with graduates, military employers should sign an enlistment agreement and conduct strict military and political training. Through systematic and scientific military and political education and training, help college students understand the army as soon as possible, master basic military skills and management methods, and resolutely join the national defense cause. According to the nature of the work, the training time and content are also different.
