Zhu Xi Family Training University
In the mid-Southern Song Dynasty, Jin and Meng invaded the south, with heavy taxes, widespread public grievances and deep national disasters. Coupled with the weakness of Confucianism, the prevalence of Buddhism and Taoism, the decay of feudal rule, the destruction of ethics, the abandonment of ethics, the greed of officialdom, moral decay, people's spiritual emptiness, the loss of ideals and social unrest. In order to stabilize the national order, strengthen the cohesion of family and society, and save the country and the people, Zhu took it as his duty to promote Neo-Confucianism, advocated moral cultivation with the content of "observing heaven and eliminating human desires", reorganized ethical norms and standards, and rebuilt his value ideal and spiritual home. It is under this background that Zhu Jiaxun came into being. Although Zhu Jiaxun was written more than 800 years ago, the rational light of its contents showed the world the excellent moral civilization and profound cultural heritage of the Chinese nation. The family that advocates affection has been the basic cell of society since ancient times. For everyone, family is the starting point of life, and it is also a harbor for rest and life. From celebrities to ordinary people, behind the success of their careers, they are inseparable from the support and help of their families. Creating a warm home and a harmonious family life is the eternal goal that people have pursued in the past and in the future. Zhu's Family Instructions provides theoretical guidance for realizing this goal. First of all, Zhu's family instructions require parents to "be kind" and "teach" their children. He believes that "the father values kindness." The so-called kindness means that parents should love their children. The way of university is to be perfect. Parents' love for their children must be the best love. But parents must not spoil their children. Spoiling is harmful. If children and grandchildren are corrupt, it is impossible to condone them, so Zhu pointed out: "Children and grandchildren must be taught." Especially in contemporary society, as an only child, parents and even grandparents regard their children as the apple of their eye, blindly accommodating them and pampering them in every way, thus forming a self-centered and willful character of a child. They don't talk about seniority, have no manners at all, give him everything, and don't give advice when they make mistakes, so they are called "bosses" at home. The cultivation of this character has brought many negative effects to children's growth. Therefore, parents should also strengthen the discipline of their children while pouring love into them. In childhood, people's expression is uncertain and plastic, so we should seize this favorable opportunity to give education and teach them how to be polite and how to be a man. Secondly, Zhu's family precepts require children to be "filial" to their parents. "Filial piety is the most precious thing for children." The so-called "filial piety" means that children should treat their parents well. When parents are alive, their children should be supported and respected, and after their parents die, they should be buried and sacrificed by ceremony. The "filial piety" emphasized by Zhu Suo is a sincere filial piety and a sincere and willing effort made by children to repay their parents' upbringing. Parents have worked hard to raise their children and devoted countless selfless love to them. As children, once they are independent, they should take the initiative to support their parents and let them spend their old age safely. They should care about their parents not only materially, but also spiritually. Be kind and cheerful in front of your parents, behave gracefully, and ask more questions about your health and illness. At the same time, children should be kind to themselves and don't make their parents "angry", especially put an end to unfilial things, such as laziness, gambling and fighting. Third, Zhu's family precepts require a harmonious relationship between husband and wife. The relationship between husband and wife is the core and cornerstone of the family. "Husband is expensive, but also; Women who are expensive are also soft. " Husband and woman are the key to love each other. The so-called "harmony" means that when expressing emotions, don't go to extremes and stay calm and rational. The so-called "softness" means softness and gentleness. When a husband and a woman are soft-hearted, they will fall in love, and the contradiction between husband and wife will be easily resolved. Fourth, Zhu Dui's family precepts emphasize the need for friendship between brothers. Brothers can't turn against each other because of some trivial things, and they will eat each other's flesh and blood. He pointed out that "brothers are friends; My brother's loved ones are also respected. " The so-called "friends" are friendly, help each other and share weal and woe. "Gong" means respect and humility. "Friendship" and "respect" are the basis of unity between brothers and sisters. If you don't love to unite your compatriots, how can you love to unite others? In a word, Zhu Jiaxun shows the relationship between father and son, brother and husband and wife from the aspects of "kindness, education, filial piety, friendship, courtesy, harmony and softness"
