On the morning of 10, students from Huazhong University, Hubei Agricultural College, Hubei Medical College and other schools came to Wuhan University to express their condolences and sympathy, despite the threat of military and police, wearing white flowers and holding wreaths. How can we wait for the people to survive? Students and citizens from Tang Ling, major schools and gymnasiums in Wuhan, came to offer their condolences in an endless stream, and the North China Federation of Students decided to strike for three days to support Wuhan University. Tsinghua and the Anti-Hunger and Anti-Civil War Committee of Peking University organized a strike and set up an altar to pay homage to the three martyrs killed by Wu Da. Central University, Jinling University and other schools also held memorial services. (Shanghai) Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Jinan University, Shanghai Medical College, School of Social Education, Beiping Jiaotong University, Tangshan Jiaotong University, Wuhan University Shanghai Alumni Association and Wu University Zigong Alumni Association all called to express their condolences and solidarity. Lin Huiqing, from Tainan, Taiwan Province, sent a message of "Mourning Ru Chen Feng Jun" on behalf of Wu Da Taiwan Province Alumni Association, and the Shanghai Taiwan Province Alumni Association and Taiwan Province Education Department also sent messages of condolence. On June 16, Tsinghua University held a memorial service in the auditorium. There is a couplet on each side of the three horrible portraits of corpses: the master provides dumdum bullets and the slave acts as the executioner. The horizontal font on it is particularly huge: "given by the party and the country." The walls on both sides of the altar are covered with elegies written by many student associations:

Marching to protest against the tragedy created by the authorities on June 22nd, Wuhan University held a memorial service for the martyrs who died in the June 1 Day tragedy. The next day, a funeral was held for the victims and a coffin-carrying parade was held in Wuchang and Hankou. Three martyrs were buried in Zhangjiashan. 1955, Zhong Ling's body was taken out and cremated in Baota Temple, and then transferred to Shimen Peak of Jiufeng Mountain in Wuhan for burial.
