The list of academicians of Jilin University is as follows:

Ma Yanming of Jilin University was elected as an academician of China Academy of Sciences, and Zhang Xuejun of Changchun Institute of Precision Machinery and Physics of China Academy of Sciences was elected as an academician of China Academy of Engineering.

Ma Yanming, male, Han nationality, born in September, 1972, party member, doctor, professor. He is currently the Standing Committee Member and Vice President of the Party Committee of Jilin University. Long-term commitment to the basic research and application of high-temperature and high-density plasma physics, aiming at the country's huge demand for energy, space and other fields, focusing on the key issues in the basic research of plasma physics.

The research results were selected into Ye Sunqi Physics Award of Chinese Physical Society, "Excellent Project" of National Natural Science Foundation, "Most Influential Paper Award" of Chinese Physical Society and the first prize of Jilin Natural Science.

Zhang Xuejun, male,1born in September 1968, Han nationality,1joined the work in June 1993, and is now the director of Changchun Institute of Optics and Mechanics. He has made important contributions in the fields of optical film and optical information processing technology, optical film material and device preparation technology, optical system and mechatronics design technology, micro-nano structure preparation and detection technology, optical information storage technology, optical information processing technology, and optical film and device performance evaluation and detection technology.

Both academicians have made outstanding achievements in their respective research fields. Their election is not only an affirmation of their scientific research achievements, but also an recognition of the scientific research strength of Jilin University. Their achievements will inspire more researchers to explore and innovate constantly, and make greater contributions to the development of science and technology in China.
