Rule number one, prepare items.
When you enter the university and leave your hometown, you must prepare some daily necessities, clothes and the like. Open the school notice first and see what the school has prepared for itself. Then according to your daily life, see what else you need.
But only bring necessities, and some things can be bought locally after getting familiar with the school situation. The notice must be brought, otherwise the school will be so verbose that the school can't identify its student status at all.
Second, cultivate your independence.
Because I used to live with my parents, I have never really experienced the days of leaving home. You can use your days at home to try to live independently every day without the help of your parents. You can do your own laundry, learn to cook, help your parents and so on.
Third, experience social life.
No matter whether the family is rich or poor, find a job for the summer vacation. Learn to talk to outsiders, deal with outsiders, and learn to deal with some things. Even going to a restaurant as a waiter or doing odd jobs is an opportunity to exercise. No matter what job college students do, others will not look down upon them.
Fourth, learn to communicate.
You can visit relatives and friends, chat with classmates and friends more, ask them some questions, or attend some party activities and make more friends. Many friends, many roads.
Fifth, practice Mandarin.
Because teachers in many areas still use dialects in their lectures and students are used to using dialects, we must practice Putonghua well during the holidays. Otherwise, freshmen will listen to Mandarin when they arrive at the university, and they will never speak Mandarin again. It will be inconvenient and unaccustomed for them in a strange environment.
Sixth, learn about the institutions you want to go to from the Internet.
It is necessary to open the website and post bar of the school you are going to attend, and get familiar with the common sense and situation of some schools. Doing so can also get to know the school information in advance and prepare for joining the big group.
You can also contact alumni you know, add an alumni group or something, or ask seniors to learn about the school spirit and discipline of some schools.
