Elliston College in the sequel "Watching Meteor Shower Together" was mainly filmed in Xiamen Institute of Technology, Huaqiao University.

Elliston Business School is a fictional aristocratic business school in the TV series "Meteor Shower" and its sequel "Watch Meteor Shower Together". After the TV series was finished, the "meteor shower" still left many "sequelae" for Xiamen University and Xiamen. For example, on the online map, the location of Xiamen University is marked with the words "Elliston Business School" (the university where the protagonist attends).
