The School of Philosophy of Fudan University was established in 1956, which is one of the subordinate departments of Fudan University and one of the earliest philosophy departments established after the founding of New China. The school of philosophy has a complete range of disciplines and a solid academic foundation. It attaches importance to the study of modern and contemporary philosophy, especially the dialogue between philosophy and two disciplines. Since the late 1990s, the scientific research achievements, scientific research projects and the number of awards of the Philosophy Department have been in the forefront of all liberal arts departments in the school.
