1. School, major and academic system 1. Kyrgyzstan National University for Nationalities is the earliest well-known comprehensive university in Kyrgyzstan. It is the most important national education, science and culture center in Kyrgyzstan. About 20,000 students come from dozens of nationalities in China and other countries in the world. The school has 17 departments, 53 teaching and research sections and 700 teachers. Among them, more than 60 professors are meritorious workers in education, science and culture in this country. Their main departments are: Russian Language and Literature Department, Law Department, Commerce and Trade Department, Chemistry and Biology Department, Physics and Electronics, Teaching and Applied Mathematics, Journalism, Commerce and Trade, etc. 2. Kyrgyzstan National Art Institute is a famous university with a long and tortuous history, profound cultural background and distinctive educational characteristics. The school has teachers 154. Most of them are accomplished artists and educators, with about 1000 students.
