Energy and power engineering mainly studies the development and utilization of energy, the design and testing technology of power machinery and thermal equipment, etc. Energy sources include traditional energy sources such as coal, oil and natural gas, and new energy sources such as nuclear energy, wind energy and bioenergy. Power machinery and thermal equipment include internal combustion engines, boilers, aero-engines and refrigerators.
