Degrees are divided into three levels: bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree. Bachelor degree is the lowest level. After graduation, it is the undergraduate stage of higher education and can be awarded the title of degree. It means that degree holders have mastered the basic theory, professional knowledge and basic skills of this discipline and have the initial ability to engage in scientific research or undertake specialized technical work.

Bachelor of Laws degree is a degree awarded to college graduates who have completed all undergraduate courses with law as their major in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the universities where they are located, and meet the conditions for awarding bachelor's degrees in People's Republic of China (PRC) Academic Degrees Regulations.
