Anhui Agricultural University is neither 2 1 1 nor 985. Anhui Agricultural University is a provincial key university with a long history and distinctive features. It is neither a 2 1 1 university nor a 985 university. It is located in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province. The school originated from 1928, a provincial Anhui University. After several changes, it was officially renamed Anhui Agricultural University on 1995. The school is jointly established by the Anhui Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Anhui Agricultural University has several colleges, covering a wide range of undergraduate majors, especially in animal and plant science, agricultural science, environment/ecology and other fields. The school also has a number of Post-Doctoral Research Center, doctor's degree authorization points and master's degree authorization points, providing broad academic research and further study space for teachers and students.
