Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (Shanghai University of Finance and Economics) is a research-oriented key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), which focuses on the discipline of economic management and the coordinated development of economics, management, law, literature, science and philosophy. It is the first batch of world-class discipline construction universities in China. National "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" focus on the construction of colleges and universities. It has been selected into the national "11/plan", the education and training plan for outstanding legal talents, the national innovation and entrepreneurship training plan for college students, the national basic talent training base for economics, the national overseas high-level talent innovation and entrepreneurship base, the national practical education and innovation and entrepreneurship base for colleges and universities, the key research base for humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, and the national postgraduate plan for building high-level universities. 3. The school originated from the business courses offered by 19 17 Nanjing Normal University. China is the first institution of higher learning to study business independently. 192 1 year, the business department was expanded and reorganized and moved to Shanghai, and the National Southeast University and Shanghai Business School were established. Since then, after the National Central University Business School and other stages, it was independently established on 1932, and was named as the National Shanghai Business School. 1950 changed its name to Shanghai Institute of Finance and Economics. 1960 changed its name to Shanghai Institute of Finance and Economics. 1985 changed its name to Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. In 2000, the school was placed under the leadership of the Ministry of Finance.
