Harbin Institute of Technology
Harbin Institute of Technology, referred to as Harbin Institute of Technology, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. 195 1, Harbin Institute of Technology has been identified as one of the two demonstration universities in China to learn the mode of running foreign higher education, 1954, and entered the first batch of six key universities in China. 1996 entered the first batch of key construction universities in the national "2 1 1 project". 1999 was identified as one of the first nine universities in the "985 Project".
Harbin Engineering University
Harbin Engineering University, referred to as "Harbin Project" for short, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, which is jointly established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, Heilongjiang Province, Harbin City and the Navy. The school originated from the Military Engineering College of China People's Liberation Army (Harbin Military Engineering College) founded by 1953. 1970, Harbin Institute of Shipbuilding Engineering, with the naval engineering department as the main body, was established in the original site of Harbin military industry; 198 1 became the first unit with the right to confer doctoral and master's degrees; 1994, renamed Harbin Engineering University.
