Rusic, male, 1965 was born in Donghai, Jiangsu Province in June. Postgraduate degree, doctor of history. Professor, doctoral supervisor. Mainly engaged in the study of regional historical geography and socio-economic history, especially the comprehensive study of historical geography and socio-economic history of Hanshui River Basin. He has published Regional Historical Geography: Object and Method-A Case Study of Hanshui River Basin (Guangxi People's Publishing House, 2000), River Changes and Dikes in the Middle and Lower Reaches of Hanshui River (Wuhan University Press, 2004), Hankou: Business and Society of a China City (Renmin University Press, 2005) and Hankou: Conflict and Community of a China City. He presided over 3 national social science fund projects, 2 humanities and social science planning projects of the Ministry of Education, and universities 1 outstanding young teachers funded by Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation. He has successively won the second prize of Guangxi Government's Guangxi Edition Book Excellence Award (200 1), the second prize of outstanding achievements in humanities and social sciences of Wuhan University (2002) and the third prize of outstanding achievements in social sciences of Hubei Province (2003). In 2004, he was selected into the "New Century Excellent Talents Support Program" of the Ministry of Education. /kloc-0 was promoted to associate professor in 1996, professor in 20001year, and doctoral supervisor in 2002. In May 2007, he was employed as a teacher in the History Department of Xiamen University. At present, he is engaged in the collection and arrangement of folk documents in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, especially folk inscriptions and ancient ghost deeds, the investigation of ancient urban morphology and spatial structure in Hanshui River Basin, and the study of urban and rural social changes and regional differences in Hanshui River Basin.
