Judging from the employment industry of college students, the degree of employment of college students in different industries is seriously divided. Industries with good employment conditions for college graduates are basically in line with the national industrial situation.
Among them, under the background of epidemic situation, the employment situation of medicine and bioengineering is better. However, the employment situation of college students in online games, transportation, electric power and other industries is slightly lower and the competition is fierce. Judging from the current situation of college students' employment market, the contradiction between the industrial structures of college students' employment market is more prominent.
From a career perspective, graduates majoring in real estate development/brokerage/intermediary, sales business, education and training have good employment prospects, which shows that these industries are short of talents.
In industries with low employment rate, it is mainly management/project coordination, hardware development, public relations/media, etc. , as well as finance and taxation, lawyers and other majors, due to too many graduates and the impact of the epidemic, the recruitment demand of enterprises has declined, leading to fierce competition in enterprise recruitment.
From the perspective of employment direction, on the whole, unit employment is the main employment direction of graduates, of which the proportion of unit employment is high, accounting for 75.8%, followed by freelance and domestic/foreign education, accounting for 7.7% and 7.5% respectively, while the proportion of graduates who choose to start a business or other businesses is low, accounting for only 2.8%.
The society demands higher and higher academic level of graduates. There is a serious shortage of high-level talents in our society, and the demand for high-level compound, export-oriented and pioneering talents is increasingly urgent. The overall social demand for college graduates is decreasing year by year.
At the same time, there is a big gap between the ability and quality of graduates and the requirements of employers. Employers put forward higher and higher requirements for college graduates' professional quality, professional ethics, ideological and moral awareness and ability, paying attention to personality and ability, while ignoring majors.
The high employment expectation of graduates is still the main problem in college students' employment.
Some graduates feel "unable to find an ideal unit", but at the same time, many grassroots employers are in urgent need of talents but can't recruit graduates, especially in underdeveloped areas in the west, which objectively reflects the general mentality of graduates in pursuing high salary, ease and fame.
Under the premise of overall balance between supply and demand, there are still many imbalances. The demand gap between different majors is quite obvious. The supply-demand ratio of short-term majors can reach 1∶30, while the demand of some long-term majors is almost zero. The lag in the adjustment of professional structure in colleges and universities has also affected the employment of college students.
The employment of college graduates has been market-oriented, but the reform of university education system is slow, which is manifested in the dislocation between the professional structure of graduates and the market supply and demand after the adjustment of professional settings, which is the most prominent reason that restricts the employment of college graduates.
Lack of scientific demand forecasting and planning for university majors and courses is quite blind. The output of professionals is out of proportion to the post demand, and the supply is seriously greater than the demand.
The demand contrast between different regions is also quite obvious. The more economically developed and knowledge-intensive areas, the more urgent the demand for college graduates, and the greater the number of graduates received; However, in some areas with relatively backward economy and lack of talents, it is more difficult to arrange graduates.
At the same time, these remote areas or underdeveloped areas in the mainland still implement the practice of planned distribution, which is not conducive to graduates' job hunting and employment; In some areas, local protection policies are implemented, and urban capacity increase fees are charged. The procedures for accepting graduates are complicated, and it is difficult to approve household registration indicators.
To say that not all college students are suitable for starting a business. Encouraging college students to start businesses is no longer a new product. Without encouragement, some people will devote themselves to innovation and entrepreneurship, so it is good for the state to give some guidance and encouragement in policy.
However, this does not mean that every college student is suitable for starting a business. Everyone should be clear about their development orientation, whether to participate in entrepreneurship as a boss or be a good employee.
