De Montfort University (DMU), located in Leicester, East Midlands, is a comprehensive university with high quality and creativity. Its predecessor was Leicester Art Institute, which was founded in 1870. Later, it developed into Leicester College of Arts and Technology and Leicester Institute of Technology until it evolved into De Montfort University. The university was named demont Ford in memory of Simon demont Ford, who was the sixth earl of Leicester, a great man who established the first British Parliament in the Middle Ages in 1265. By the end of 20 14 [1], the school had 22,000 students and 2,700 faculty members from many countries in the world. At present, there are five colleges in the school, namely, College of Art and Design (its alumni won the Oscar Award), College of Commercial Law, College of Technology, College of Life and Health Sciences, College of Humanities and three specialized research institutions. It is particularly worth mentioning that 13 professors of Dede University have won the national teaching scholarship awarded by the Higher Education Institute, ranking second among all universities in the UK [2]. Ranked as 150 in 20 16 of Times Higher Education. In The Times' latest university ranking in 20 15, it rose to 53rd place in the UK. According to the evaluation of scientific research in 2008, 40% of its research is "world leading" and 30% is "international excellent". The teaching quality of its English literature major is comparable to that of Cambridge University. The number of teachers who have won national teaching awards ranks second in the country.
