How to evaluate the 20 15 national college students' biological networking design competition
I am also a member of the National College Students' Bio-networking Competition. First of all, I have many questions about this competition, such as not publishing the results according to the rankings and so on. I believe all the teams have the same doubts as me. But aside from these, a male judge from Beijing University of Technology is both a teacher and a judge in the competition, and a person is both a player and a referee. Finally, the team he coached won one of the three awards and worked very hard. And he raised four questions about our project, which I always remember vividly. Considering the performance problem at that time, I just smiled back. I was in the mood tonight, so I recorded my thoughts at that time and gave them to other racing friends as conversation material.

Question 1: "Your project has no market. I did this a few years ago. "

My reply: This statement is really ridiculous! ! ! You've done it. If you fail, no one else will succeed. The success of a product often depends on many factors, including technology, upstream and downstream industries, social development, marketing and so on. In addition, there is a saying that "small success depends on wisdom, and great success depends on virtue." I think the success of the product is a great success. If you lack a necessary condition, you are sure to fail. Such a judge is ridiculous, pathetic and hateful.

What's so funny? As a scientific researcher, you have no sense of development and an open mind. You think that no one will surpass you, and your failure is the southern wall of others. This is ridiculous.

Sadly, you have failed for several years without reflecting on your own problems and drawing any experience from them. All the reasons are attributed to the lack of market. This kind of escape just reflects the cowardice that you dare not face the reality of failure, which is called pathetic.

What is hateful? Under the circumstances that the State Council, the central city of China, vigorously promotes "mass innovation and mass entrepreneurship", you have seriously dealt a blow to the enthusiasm of college students who run in the front line of innovation and entrepreneurship. Your failure to implement the central policy should be spurned by people. And your attack is not for educational purposes, but to mislead and mislead children. This is abhorrent.

Question 2: "Turn left, turn right, turn left, turn right, I just want to see how fast you can turn."

My reply: After hearing your reply, I subconsciously looked up to see who asked such a question. I thought it was a primary school student who had just come into contact with motion control who was showing off your skills to me. It is unexpected that a judge can ask such a question. Your question only stays in the primary stage of motor control, and it will be ridiculous to meet experts in motor control. Your question just exposes your ignorance of motor control and user experience! ! ! We can realize motor commutation above 654.38+ 1 100 Hz, but is it meaningful? What you think of as high-speed steering is the simplest way to achieve control, and it is also the most serious safety problem. A freshman in our team pursues performance just like you, and our team made him realize his ignorance in one minute. Do you realize it now?

Question 3: "Did you remove the sensor and let the wheelchair go?"

My reply: What is the Internet of Things? At the opening ceremony, an Internet of Things expert said that "the Internet of Things is a network of sensors". What is the Internet of Things without sensors? Just like a person without eyes, it is too much for him to engage in normal work at this time. So I think this teacher not only has no basic common sense about the Internet of Things, but also has a confused logic. He not only forgot that the theme of this competition is the Internet of Things, but also didn't realize the importance of sensors to the Internet of Things. There are such judges in the competition, which is not only the mistake of the organizing Committee, but also the disaster of each team.

Question 4: "Your performance is too strong. We are technical. I will brush such a player directly. "

My reply: I don't know if you mean my effect is too good when you say it's too performative. If so, I'd be honored. But the effect is not necessarily too strong, it includes many factors: PPT, the art of language and so on. Do you need PPT to make a simple technical list for technical display? Language is not contagious? Is your PPT level just at the initial stage of full-page text? I don't need to mention your language appeal for the time being, because I know a thing or two from the question you asked. For the team that is too strong, I think you forgot your identity, wore colored glasses like a princess, and were willful in the competition.

Summary:

It is a disaster for the participating teams to have such judges in the contest.

It is a disaster for students to have such a teacher in Dabei Industry.

A great country has not been replaced by anyone, which is a disaster of education.
