The professional catalogue includes philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, art (tentative) 12. The professional catalogue consists of four parts: professional code, professional name, degree-granting category and management authority. The professional code consists of six-digit codes, with the first two representing the discipline category and the first four representing the professional category.

The basic framework of the professional catalogue is set to three levels: discipline, specialty and specialty. The discipline setting is consistent with the disciplines in the Catalogue of Discipline for Degree Granting and Personnel Training. In principle, the setting of specialized courses is consistent with the first-level subjects in the subject catalogue.
