Is there any requirement for subject teaching English in Southwest University?
The registration conditions for taking the TEM-4 unified examination for undergraduates are: (1) sophomores majoring in English in colleges and universities registered or approved by the Ministry of Education. (2) College students who have completed the courses stipulated in the syllabus for the basic stage of English major in colleges and universities for the record or approval by the Ministry of Education. (3) English majors with academic qualifications registered or approved by the Ministry of Education for four-year full-time study in adult higher education colleges (second academic year); Five-year program refers to the undergraduate students who have completed the required courses (the third academic year) in the basic stage of English major without full-time study. Part-time three-year college students must register for CET-4 in the third academic year. (4) In key foreign language colleges, non-English majors can take CET-6, and their scores are above 60 in that year. (5) Candidates who take CET-4 only have one make-up exam. There are: (1) fourth-grade college English majors registered or approved by the Ministry of Education. (2) English majors who have completed four years of full-time study in adult higher education institutions approved by the Ministry of Education (the fourth academic year); Five-year system refers to undergraduates who study English part-time (fifth academic year). (3) Students who have passed CET-6 for non-English majors can sign up for CET-8. (4) Candidates who take the TEM-8 exam only have one make-up exam. Candidates who fail the unified examination in the basic stage (TEM4) can also take the unified examination in the advanced stage (TEM8). Undergraduate English majors are not allowed to take the unified examination for English majors at the basic stage (TEM 4) because they have exceeded the examination period specified in the unified examination for English majors at the basic stage (see applicants for details), but they can take the final semester of the unified examination for English majors at the third stage (TEM 8). For various reasons, candidates who did not take the TEM-4 (fourth semester) or Grade 8 (eighth semester) unified examination within the prescribed examination period may not take the TEM-4 or Grade 8 unified examination in the name of make-up examination.
