Second, there are two ways for middle schools to enter universities:
1. Take part in the spring college entrance examination, also known as the college entrance examination and counterpart enrollment of students from three colleges and universities. The enrollment targets are graduates from secondary vocational schools (technical secondary schools), technical schools and vocational high schools. The examination subjects are Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages and a professional technology.
2. Take the general college entrance examination. For middle school students, this is more difficult.
The general college entrance examination subjects are: "3+ liberal arts comprehensive/science comprehensive", in which "3" refers to Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages; "Liberal arts synthesis" refers to the synthesis of politics, history and geography, while "science synthesis" refers to the synthesis of physics, chemistry and biology.
Third, secondary vocational schools (secondary vocational schools), that is, secondary specialized schools, are usually carried out after the end of nine-year compulsory education, which is equivalent to high school in level, but ordinary high schools mainly teach basic knowledge and generally take the general college entrance examination after graduation to prepare for entering universities. Secondary schools, on the other hand, pay more attention to the cultivation of professional skills. After graduation, they have generally mastered the corresponding vocational skills and can be competent for a certain occupation when they enter the society. At present, there are public and private secondary schools, including: ordinary secondary schools, vocational secondary schools, adult secondary schools and secondary technical schools (secondary technical schools) (equivalent to secondary school education). Technical secondary school is an important part of China's vocational education and secondary education, which delivers a large number of applied talents to the society every year.
Four, universities, generally refers to the implementation of higher education schools, refers to higher education institutions that provide teaching and research conditions and authorize the award of degrees, including comprehensive universities, junior colleges, higher vocational colleges and other schools.
