At present, the degree certificate of China University is no longer linked to CET-4. A few years ago, many schools required students to pass CET-4, otherwise they would not be able to obtain a degree certificate when they graduated, but this restriction has been lifted in recent years. You can't get a degree certificate in CET-4, but you can get credits as long as you complete your diploma. But it depends on your school. There will usually be a school level 4 or something. In short, try to let you pass, depending on your school.
On the basis of completing all the credits, some universities need to pass CET-4, and some universities need more than 75 points in College English, or even both of them must meet the conditions for issuing diplomas. At present, most schools in China require a credit score of 2.0 or above (usually a weighted average score of 70) to obtain a bachelor's degree, otherwise they can only get a diploma.
