Henan University School of Software is a public institution.

The School of Software of Henan University was formerly the Zhengzhou Training Department of Henan University. In 2005, it was renamed Henan University Software Vocational and Technical College (the first batch of demonstration software vocational and technical colleges in Henan Province). In 2007, it was renamed the Software College of Henan University. 20 12 software institute merged with computer teaching and research section to form a new software institute.

The college has a second-class doctorate in software engineering technology, a master's degree in software engineering, two undergraduate majors in software engineering and network engineering, and a provincial experimental teaching demonstration center of modern network technology. It is the main college of Henan University with the most comprehensive training direction, covering bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree, and takes the lead in ranking among the first phalanx of three talent training levels in the province.
