The predecessor of Xinjiang University is Xinjiang College of Russian Politics and Law, which was founded in 1924. 1935 1 was transformed into Xinjiang university,19601kloc-0/was formally established, 1978 was identified as the only national key university in Xinjiang by the State Council, and 1997 was listed as the national "2007".
