Anning University Town includes Yunnan Economic Management Vocational College, Yunnan Engineering Vocational College, Kunming Metallurgical College, Yunnan Traffic Technician College and Yunnan Buddhist College.

Yunnan Vocational College of Economic Management:

Yunnan Vocational College of Economic Management, located in Kunming, Yunnan Province, is a "pilot college for innovation and entrepreneurship education reform" in Yunnan Province. Yunnan Buddhist College, located in Longxi Road, Wenquan Town, Anning City, Kunming City, is the only Buddhist college in China and even the world with three major language families: Chinese, Tibetan and Pali.

Yunnan Engineering Vocational College:

Yunnan Engineering Vocational College was established in 2004. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It has the qualification to independently issue diplomas recognized by the state.

Kunming Metallurgy College:

Kunming Metallurgy College, referred to as "Kunming Metallurgy College", is a full-time public university approved by the Ministry of Education. The school has 12 secondary colleges (departments) and 77 higher vocational majors (excluding majors).

Yunnan Traffic Technician College:

Yunnan Communications Senior Technical School was founded in 1953. It is one of the earliest technical schools in Yunnan Province and a full-time technician college managed by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Transportation. The College is located in the Vocational Education Park of Anning City, Yunnan Province, covering an area of 1 206.3 mu, with a building area of 225,700 square meters.

Yunnan Buddhist College:

Yunnan Buddhist College is located in Longxi Road, Wenquan Town, Anning City, Kunming. It is the only Buddhist college in China and even in the world with three major language families: Chinese, Tibetan and Pali. Yunnan Buddhist College, approved by the Bureau of Religious Affairs of the State Council, is a specialized college with national enrollment, which is jointly invested and built by the Yunnan provincial government and the Yunnan Buddhist Association.
