Gannan Medical College, located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is a full-time undergraduate college of general medicine organized by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. It is a pilot university of excellent doctoral education and training plan and a first-class discipline construction university in Jiangxi Province.

The school's predecessor was Jiangxi Ganxian Senior Midwifery Vocational School, which was founded in 194 1 and Gannan Medical College in 1958. 1988 was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Gannan Medical College.
